Yeap I had the same problem too, I am 8.x version and I realized that the borderware.com, borderware.org and reputationauthority.org domains were not responding when I tried to see what is wrong with all the incoming messages being rejected from reputation authority.
Anyway I contacted the watchguard support and they said they had "a problem with the domains" and that it will be resolved in less than 24 hours... well atm it is 24 hours since the problem started ;)
An other workaround until the borderware domains are up with less spam:

>Security > ReputationAuthority
-Clear all checkboxes on that page
>Security > anti-spam > DNS Block List
- Click edit at DNSBL Domains, clear the borderware servers (just keep a note of them). Add one entry for each sbl.spamhaus.org and xbl.spamhaus.org
>Security > anti-spam > URL Block list
- Click edit at UBL Domains, clear the borderware servers (just keep a note of them). Add new entry for multi.surbl.org
They work just fine! after all borderware for its dnsbl uses the spamhaus as I had them all the time on and they always coincided ;)

This really pissed me off today ! A lot of mail was discarded because of this. It will be interesting to see how Watchguard will react to this. I´m looking at other vendors in the future.

Yep, seems they let their domain registration lapse and consequently their zone file and all the records for borderware.com have been deleted. Means there's no AV updates, DNSBL, ReputationAuthority until they get their act together and recreate the A records.

Hi
What sort of mailbox size was this for? did you run the storage calculator from MS to see what MS recommend for the number of drives for 1000 users under 2010? I have used the calculator and was shocked at just how many drives are still required (according to the calculator). Would you care to comment on this based on your findings?
TIA
